Arghawan Bani

Arghawan Bani is a storyteller, poet, and community activist. She is a vibrant, passionate individual whose dedication to improving both organizations and communities shines through everything she does. With over three years of professional experience, Arghawan has made her mark at Pfizer and Moore Afghanistan, where she not only managed critical projects and led teams but also drove significant improvements in efficiency and collaboration.

Her work experience ranges from enhancing library service efficiency at Bard College’s Charles P. Stevenson Library to spearheading global storytelling initiatives at Pfizer, reflecting her versatile skill set and ability to inspire change. Arghawan’s role in sales at Seasons Four, where she exceeded sales goals and improved customer satisfaction, showcases her exceptional people skills and business acumen.

Arghawan is deeply committed to community engagement. She co-founded and presides over Catalyst for Change, an underground mentorship program for unprivileged Afghan girls, aiming to expand its reach significantly. Her dedication to community service also shines through her work with the Afghan-to-Afghan Mentorship Program Initiative and the founding of A Home for Everyone at Bard College, focusing on integrating Afghan refugees/immigrants into the community.

Currently an honors student at Bard College, she is pursuing a joint major in Economics and Psychology, with a concentration in Data Analytics.

Away from her professional and academic life, Arghawan enjoys diving into the worlds of behavioral economics, storytelling, and poetry. Her interests in reading and learning new languages reflect her global perspective and eagerness to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Arghawan’s journey is not just about her achievements but about her continuous pursuit of growth, learning, and the desire to make a meaningful difference in the world.
